This Hampshire kitchen epitomises Lewis Alderson’s attention to detail in design. Housed in part of a former Brewery, the building benefits from high ceilings, original sash windows and beautiful barn-style doors. The kitchen has been designed as a collection of large free-standing pieces rather than fully fitted, to suit the proportions of the room.

Barnt Green

A 9 bedroomed turn of the century house in the West Midlands.  Extensive renovation work included knocking through a series of smaller rooms to create a large open plan living/kitchen/diner.  The owners wanted a luxurious entertaining space with large communal island plus a separate utility/boot room and walk-in pantry.

A six-bedroom 1930’s house in Esher, Surrey. Renovation work included knocking through 2 smaller rooms to create a large open-plan space. The rectangular shape of the room leant itself to a U shaped kitchen to one end with large island and breakfast bar, whilst to the opposing end, complementary free-standing furniture ties the scheme together.
