Long Sutton
BUDGET: £34,000 plus other rooms
The house underwent a comprehensive transformation, with a complete renovation from top to bottom. The new kitchen flows seamlessly into the scullery, where we placed the main fridge and second sink amidst ample storage and display shelves.
Continuing the journey, the scullery leads to a spacious walk-in pantry, featuring bracket shelves lining the walls and convenient exposed baskets beneath the worksurface for easy access to everyday essentials. Moving to the dining room, we designed a striking focal dresser to showcase the client’s finest crockery and cutlery. Within one of the dressers, we incorporated a bar area, complete with mirrored backs and glass shelves, with the centrepiece of the dresser base being a dual-zone wine cooler.
THE Kitchen
This kitchen blends our classic design elements with contemporary functionality. The cabinetry, painted in a rich navy blue, offers a deep contrast to the light grey walls, and brass hardware adds a touch of elegance. A new electric Aga has been integrated into the existing chimney breast, complemented by a large farmhouse sink under the main window. The larder and bi-fold dresser provide ample storage in the kitchen and the peninsula provides seating for four.
In the centre of the kitchen, a large island doubles as a prep area and dining area. Natural light floods through the large window, creating a bright and spacious atmosphere. This is further enhanced by the standout feature of the space, the vaulted ceiling in the kitchen, providing a stunning backdrop for our handmade furniture.
This kitchen’s blend of traditional features, with contemporary appliances, makes it an exceptional model of our kitchen design.
UTILITY, scullery pantry & bootroom
At the rear entrance of the house, we created a stunning boot room featuring oak bench seats, Tongue and Groove-lined walls, and a hat shelf with hooks for family and guests alike. A tall cloak cupboard provides ample storage for coats and shoes, while welly boots find their place neatly tucked under the bench seats. This seamlessly transitions into the utility room, where practicality meets elegance. Stacked washing machine and tumble dryer units are accompanied by a large sink and tap, set beneath matching quartz countertops with storage solutions above, ensuring functionality and style harmonise effortlessly.
