Meet The Founder
Lewis Alderson & Co is an internationally renowned name in luxury design and craftsmanship. Our skilled design team create bespoke kitchens and other rooms for our clients throughout the UK and abroad.
Co-founder Tom Edmonds has been the creative driving force behind Lewis Alderson since 2008. Now sole owner, Tom continues to shape every design, bringing his passion for craftsmanship and detail to projects across the UK and beyond.
His flair and dedication have led to commissions across all areas of the home, from state-of-the-art Cinemas to elegant Libraries, connoisseurs’ Wine Rooms to His and Hers Dressing Rooms. Whatever your lifestyle requires, Tom and the team will create the perfect setting.
Be Inspired
A graduate of Brunel University in Industrial Design, Tom has built on his academic foundation with over 20 years of experience designing at the top of the bespoke kitchen industry. He prides himself on exceptional attention to detail, quality, and timeless design standards.

We were commissioned to create a new kitchen and an adjoining snug at the rear of the house, with the brief that the two rooms should work as a single relaxed living space while each holding its own character. Truly bespoke, at Lewis Alderson there are no set furniture ranges; each room is designed specifically for you and your lifestyle. Classic design principles are coupled with the latest technology to allow us to work to the exact measurements of your room and, importantly, tailor our designs to the architecture of your home.
Our furniture is handmade in Britain using the finest materials. Each component is carefully machined and then assembled by hand. Furniture is hand-painted on site in a colour of your choice to ensure a flawless finish, creating an investment expected to last for 30 years or more.
Our projects range from Listed and period homes through to brand new properties. Our design and installation team is extremely experienced and happily works on renovation projects, including empty homes and properties teaming with children and pets.
