A house in Cheshire with conservatory extension to the rear of the property. The brief was to design a kitchen with an “industrial” feel to include clever storage and a separate utility/boot room.

Kitchen Detail

The range cooker was placed at the centre of one wall, framed by a hand-made chimney breast to add focal interest. A large central island provides plenty of extra cupboard space and houses the sink which has been placed to give views of the garden.

Double height cupboards give a sensation of stature and bi-fold doors provide clever storage for smaller appliances. The attractive solid oak window seat lifts to reveal concealed storage whilst a free-standing dresser provides space for home working. Hand-painted in a series of greys with black granite worktops and heavy chrome handles, this kitchen has been given the industrial feel the clients requested.
